Halloween Week 2015

Welcome to my 3rd Annual Halloween Week. I love this holiday, it is one of my favorite holidays and having kids makes it even better. My kiddos are not yet old enough to scare the living daylights out of on Halloween but I still have something to look forward to when they get older. I have had a lot of fun writing these the last few years that I am doing it again. The first year I reviewed remakes of all of my favorite horror movies, and last year I reviewed the originals.

This year I just chose a few random favorites to review. I am going to review The Amittyville Horror (2005), The Fog (2005), Dead Silence, Dawn of the Dead (2004), Shawn of the Dead, and Evil Dead 2. I love these movies. A lot of people didn't care for the remakes of The Fog and Amittyville but I did. You will get to read all about them for Haloween week. I had to finish out the week and end on Halloween with Evil Dead two because Ash Vs the Evil Dead Season 1 begins on STARZ. I don't have STARZ so I'm really bummed I wont be able to watch it, but as soon as it comes to iTunes I will buy the season and let you all know how awesome it is in a review after I have binge watched it three or four times.

I have a lot to look forward to this Halloween. It falls on a Saturday which means I get a day to recoup before having to go back to work. This is my second year in my job and the company is doing a Trunk or Treat during the day on Halloween so I am really excited to take my family to work and let the kids get some more candy (which I will of course enjoy too). For those of you who don't know what a trunk or treat is, this is where people just park in a parking lot and decorate the trucks of there cars and the kids can go from car to car getting candy instead of house to house. It should be a lot of fun for all of us. The company is putting on games and providing free lunch, and I love my job.

Both of my little ones are really excited for Halloween and they have their costumes all picked out. My son is 5 and he is going to be The Flash because that is his favorite superhero. My daughter was going to be super girl but then changed her mind and is now going to be Mini Mouse. She is 2 and my wife is making her costume. It is the cutest thing ever. Enjoy the week and Happy Halloween early.
