It's that time again and I am excited to be able to participate in this round of Bout of Books. I have had a really good year so far with my reading. Thanks to being able to listen to audio books at work I am quickly getting through my to-read pile. I usually use this event to try and catch up on my Graphic novel challenge but I only need one more graphic novel to meet my goal. In case you don’t know what Bout of Books is all about here is a little blurb:
The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a weeklong read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, May 12th and runs through Sunday, May 18th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure, and the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. Bout of Books was the very first blogging event I participated in and I had so much fun. I try to participate in this when ever I can. Thinking about my goals I think they are going to be a little light. Since I am almost finished with my Graphic novel challenge I want to catch up on some of the series I jumped into late. This year I have been trying to re-read the Dresden Files books so I can move on with what I haven't read in the series so expect to see one or two of those in my goals. I will try to update it daily so check back on that post to see how I am doing.

I missed out on the last round because I just forgot. I was a little less involved in my blog and it totally slipped my mind. As always I want to wish all my blogging friends who will be participating in this luck and I look forward to seeing what you have as your goals. If you are thinking about participating in this for the first time I would encourage you to do it. It is a lot of fun even if you only participate a little bit.

A-Z Reading Survey

On one of the blogs I follow I saw this and thought it sounded like a lot of fun. I decided to follow the link to the A-Z Meme . I also decided to check out the blog this came from and really liked it. What kind of blogger would I be if I didn't give credit where it is due? This is from The Perpetual Page-Turner , and her blog is pretty cool. So here are her questions and my answers. A uthor you’ve read the most books from: Jeffery Deaver is the author that I have read the most books from. If you checked out my all about me post you would know that his books are the reason I am the avid reader I am. Michael Connelly and Steven King would be a close second. Still have a lot of King to read.   B est Sequel Ever:  What a good question. Currently the only one I can think of is the Lord of the Rings Tow Towers. That is my favorite book of the series. I have to admit that I was so lost as to what type of picture I should take. Yes, I know it was supposed to be funny but I was still at a loss. I asked my wife what I should do and she asked me if I still knew how to tie a noose. Don't judge me I was a weird teen. Anyway she said I should hang my favorite book in homage to Halloween. I decided to take this a step further.
